The beautiful beast in the photo below is a Fifth wheel travel trailer. She is a 2002 NuWa Hitchhiker purchased from an elderly couple who could not get anymore use out of it and she is all mine! She also happens to be named Freedom Chaser. I’ll get to how I ended up with her in a later article, but for now let me tell you WHY I chose the name Freedom Chaser.
Freedom Chaser was purchased about 8 months ago with the intentions of getting out of financial debt really fast! By being full time in my RV, I would be saving tons by not being in an apartment or the usual starter 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home. This in turn would allow me to make higher payments on my debt. Make sense, right? Now, since every RV out there has a name, when mine was purchased I could not wait to slap a name on her! After taking into consideration why I purchased her, because who leaves a cozy apartment with marble countertops and room for beautiful cherry oak Armoires for a house on wheels? …This Girl… Freedom Chaser was born!
Naming my RV Freedom Chaser came so easily to me. After all, that is what I am doing and the sole reason I purchased her. I am CHASING that FREEDOM. Freedom from not owing people debts. Whenever you become free from debts, more freedom starts to accumulate in your life, such as freedom for more time, freedom to see family and friends more, freedom to vacation more, freedom to focus on hobbies more, etc.
She wants to travel the world. She wants to see her babies more. He wants to work on his book more. She wants independence. He wants to have control of his life….
